Kurt R. Denniston
Kurt R. Denniston is a registered patent attorney who is admitted to practice in New York and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He has been licensed to prosecute patent matters before the United States Patent and Trademark Office since November 2006. Mr. Denniston passed the July 2009 New York State Bar Examination and was admitted to practice law in February 2010.
In addition to patent prosecution, Mr. Denniston has expanded his practice into many other areas of Intellectual Property Law including patentability analysis, patent and trademark infringement analysis, and the preparation and review of intellectual property related agreements. Mr. Denniston has prosecuted patent applications in a variety of technical fields, including the mechanical, electrical, and computer software arts.
Mr. Denniston earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University at Buffalo Law School, graduating magna cum laude and being awarded the American Bar Association and the Bureau of National Affairs Award for Excellence in the Study of Intellectual Property Law. Before law school, he graduated with honors from the University at Buffalo, earning a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. During college, Mr. Denniston worked as a laboratory technician for the New York State Department of Transportation, as an engineering intern for General Electric, and as a teaching assistant for a computer programming course at the University at Buffalo.
